Here's a better look at the WIP Programmer Art Copper for my add-on pack.
Normally the oxidation would all be the same color with the original textures, but it looked really off to me. Very unfinished. So I've been tweaking the exposed and weathered oxidation to be a little closer to Vanilla, that way the pack won't wreck the style of builds.
It's definitely not the same though. Vanilla is really dull and a little more green shifted (Picture 3) vs the Programmer Art textures (Picture 4).
(and yeah, I saw the missing pixel on the chiseled weathered copper. I just fixed it.)

I probably bit off more than I can chew here, but I've been working on finishing the old Programmer Art Copper showed off ages ago, and adding it to my Programmer Art Preserved pack. There's just SO MUCH COPPER!!
When it's done this will probably be the biggest update to the pack yet. Here is a beta version of the pack on my Sniffer Apiary:

Want to know a random and really dumb fact about my thumbnail artwork?
The reason I use simple black cell shading vs colored shading isn't actually to save time or make the character pop from the background more. Those are byproducts.
The real reason is that I use an old Lenovo x200 Tablet for my art, and Terra's exact skin tone just so happens to be one of the few colors outside of the day-screen's color range.
So I actually have no idea how the colors on their skin would look blended until it's exported.
Thankfully that old LCD monitor I acquired has a 2nd VGA port and actually good color reproduction. So I might start connecting the x200 to that to experiment with colors more.
But yeah. The true dumb reason is Terra's skin color just happens to be the exact color that screen can't display. The rest of the colors in this image were eyeballed and came out perfect. So the colors on it are good enough, except for one really important one.
Oh and for the "Just get a new tablet." comments, I hear you. But;
If you can show me another Tablet that can Dual Boot Windows/Linux, actually has a keyboard, that weird little nub mouse (I hate touch pads), a screen bright enough to see with the sun directly overhead, swappable battery pack, upgradable RAM, a $10 replaceable Pen that DOESN'T need charged with a spring loaded eraser on the end, Ethernet, VGA/Displayport out, Bluetooth, upgradable / replaceable storage, headphone & microphone jacks, a webcam, an expansion slot, a ton of USB ports, and a DVD Burner, all for the $200 I spent on this. PLEASE. Show me.
Also saying all that out loud, man Laptops used to be so cool. CHONKY. But really cool.
