ABC News Wednesday is Tax Day, the last day of this year's tax season, and the average refund for filers is up 11% compared to last year's filing season, according to new Treasury Department data. The average refund this filing season is "over $3,400," the Treasury Department data said. The data, which is as of Tuesday, also showed that "over 53 million filers claimed at least one of President Trump's signature new tax cuts," which includes provisions from Trump's sweeping legislation that was passed last year. ABC News An American YouTuber known online as Johnny Somali who sparked national outrage in South Korea for provocative stunts, including dancing on a statue honoring victims of wartime sexual slavery, was sentenced to six months in prison by a Seoul court. The Seoul Western District Court found Ramsey Khalid Ismael, a self-proclaimed internet “troll,” guilty of multiple charges, including obstruction of business and distributing fabricated sexually explicit content. She is so mature for her age. She understands that the kids that make fun of her isn’t personal, it’s just because they’re to immature to understand. She is very outspoken and kind. My respect for her really reached its peak when she said that other kids have it way worse than her. Not many kids understand that. I see very bright things in her future.
