I walked on those catwalks all the time in the 48 lanes house I worked in. Sometimes ran across them

Thanks for posting this. I worked on the A's at several alleys in Ohio. Some were FACTORY A-2's, some converted A-2's, and some were A's by Brunswick and the OTIS Elevator branded ones. I used close my eyes while clearing stops the machines became so familiar. We NEVER unplugged the main motor plug we just opened the breaker or used the rear off switch. We walked on those planks all the time in a 50 lane house, as well. A different time.

Astro SuperBowl in San Antonio still uses A2s. As a bowler, I occasionally have issues with their system not detecting strikes and leaving 1 ball for the spare or saying you knocked down 7 Pins but have 9 remaining. House blames the camera for not detecting what has been hit or left standing.

I might be working at the Wellington Retro Bowl soon and working with 10 original, 1956-manufactured, Otis Elevator-assembled Brunswick Automatics, so Robert Natho (the owner and also the man behind @GarageBowlingAlley) requested I watch this before anything else.
