Never grown tired of Jeff's music. Been a fan for 40 yrs and its still the most often played music in the car.

Jeff Lynn has got to be one of most unappreciated, his solo work and that with ELO is pure musical genius. I have been a fan since my sister bought the 45 of "Telephone Line"

Glad to her the full version. Some times they leave out the verse beginning with: Breakdown on the shoreline. It starts at the 2:19 mark.

Wow! Terrific actual LIve performance. I heard they were incredible live. And to think this was before they really "broke big." It's just...WOW!

This is the song, and the album (Eldorado) that got me big time into ELO in 74 as a teen. I had heard Roll Over Beethoven a lot of course on the radio but this song got me into ELO for good, especially thtough the 70s. Lynne had a knack of great instrumentation and arranging of pop rock songs. And Bev Bevan was a monster drummer.

Such a beautiful orchestra, they were very impact able and synchronized everything..I can listen over and over the bass, guitar, violin, piano you can hear everything!!!!

ELO's string section could rock pretty hard live. This is probably the best actual live performance I've seen from this era. It's interesting they didn't do the slide guitar/synthesizer duet from the instrumental bridge on the studio version. I imagine Richard Tandy was probably busy enough with the mellotron choir.

Me too danced with my wife on our second date to this sound I asked her why did you call me back an she said I couldn't get you out my head an ill never forget that. thanks ELO

Mick Kaminski on violin - amazing. Saw their '76 tour and he had a long solo that blew me away. Jeff Lynne's vocal were at their peak. Amazing stuff, and a great memory.

Great live rendition of the song. Another clip of Jeff without his trademark shades...
